Meet Jim Ellis
Hair that feels considered—not complicated.
Jim hails from Nova Scotia, just up the coast from Halifax. This must be the reason for his effortless and warm approach to customer service and making everyone feel so at home in the salon.
After working in the hair industry perfecting his craft in both style and colour, Jim opened his first major salon in Toronto as a flagship Redken salon in the Yonge/St. Clair area. A chance encounter with other Redken salon owners created the family of stylists who are all assembled under Lift.
Jim has always been an innovator in the salon world, bringing innovative techniques and products to Canada for his clients.
Jim believes a salon visit should feel collaborative. His approach pairs close listening with honest recommendations, creating wearable results that grow out beautifully.
